FedEx took blended SAF deliveries at Chicago O’Hare and Miami in 2025, following an initial deployment at Los Angeles in May-2025, including one million gallons of neat SAF at Chicago from Air bp and around three million gallons of blended SAF at Miami from AEG Fuels, both at a minimum 30% blend1. FedEx also agreed with Neste to secure 8800 tonnes of blended SAF at Los Angeles for one year from May-2025, with Karen Blanks Ellis (FedEx chief sustainability officer and VP environmental affairs) calling for the SAF market to grow to meet demand2.
