Phnom Penh Techo Takhmao International Airport commenced operations on 09-Sep-2025, replacing Phnom Penh International Airport. Etihad Airways launched four times weekly Abu Dhabi-Phnom Penh Techo passenger service with A321neo equipment on 06-Oct-2025 and was the sole scheduled operator on the route, according to OAG1. Etihad Cargo planned a significant increase in bellyhold cargo capacity for winter 2025/26, including Phnom Penh as a new destination2.
