Amsterdam Schiphol Airport launched a tender to select three ground handling companies, cutting the number of handlers from six, with Royal Schiphol Group executive director operations Patricia Vitalis saying the move would improve service quality, working conditions, safety and cooperation; the seven-year contracts were due to be awarded in 3Q2026, with start-up planned for 1Q2027.1 Schiphol later selected dnata, KLM and Viggo for the new seven-year arrangements, with operations scheduled from 2Q2027.2
