Entebbe’s international passenger traffic rose 18.8% year-on-year to 189,575 in Feb-2026, with cargo totalling 4498 tonnes, but Uganda Civil Aviation Authority warned Mar-2026 traffic was expected to fall due to Middle East airspace closures.1 Entebbe previously set monthly records in Jul-2025 (230,577 passengers; 5864 tonnes cargo) and Aug-2025 (243,089 international passengers; 5257 tonnes cargo), supported by sports tourism, conferences and new operators.2 3
