Embraer formally rolls-out first E-Jet E2 aircraft, test flights to commence in 2H2016

Embraer conducted (25-Feb-2016) the formal roll-out and presentation of the E190-E2, the first of the company's second generation of its E-Jets family of commercial aircraft. The aircraft's maiden flight is scheduled for 2H2016, with entry into service scheduled for 2018. The aircraft is the first of four prototypes that will be used in the E190-E2 certification campaign. Two additional aircraft will be added for the E195-E2 campaign, entry into service for which is expected in 2019, and three more will be used in the E175-E2 campaign, which is scheduled to enter service in 2020.
