Mexicana de Aviación became the first operator of the Embraer E-Jets E2 family in Mexico following its order for 10 E195-E2s and 10 E190-E2s placed in Jun-2024. The carrier planned to receive the first aircraft in May-2025, with remaining deliveries to continue through 2027, and expected the new fleet to support both its passenger and forthcoming cargo operations1 2 3 4.
