Embraer and Adani Group signed an MoU to develop an integrated regional transport aircraft ecosystem in India, spanning manufacturing, supply chain, aftermarket services and pilot training, including a proposed commercial aircraft final assembly line (FAL)1. Embraer and Adani Defence and Aerospace later expanded this MoU around an E175 FAL proposal to support India’s Regional Transport Aircraft programme, with Embraer forecasting demand for at least 500 aircraft in the 80-146 seat segment over 20 years2. Embraer also established a wholly owned India subsidiary in AeroCity, New Delhi, to strengthen procurement, supply chain and engineering capabilities3.
