Egyptair Holding Co will not be privatised: President

Egyptair Holding Co will not be privatised or offer 20% of its shares for sale, according to the company's president Hussein Masoud (Zawya Dow Jones, 08-May-2010). Masoud earlier said the carrier had incurred losses worth USD3.2 million due to the disruptions caused by Iceland's volcano eruption and it will not ask for compensation from the Egyptian Government for the loss.
