easyJet releases 2017 outlook

easyJet released (24-Jan-2017) its 2017 outlook, with seat capacity planned to grow in 1H2017 by up to 9%, and by up to 9% in the full year. easyJet secured approximately 56% of expected bookings for 2Q2017, slightly ahead of 2016. Revenue per seat for 1H2017 is expected to decline by high single digits, within the range of previous guidance. The year-on-year revenue per seat decline is expected to improve in 2Q2017 compared to 1Q2017. As easyJet's capacity growth is up to 9%, headline cost per seat excluding fuel at constant currency is expected to increase by 1% for the full year, in line with previous guidance.
