East Midlands Airport previously consulted on a draft Sustainable Development Plan that committed to ongoing community engagement, minimising impacts via its Noise Action Plan, and supporting Manchester Airport Group’s net zero by 2038 target.1 East Midlands Airport also announced airfield stand reconfigurations that doubled widebody cargo stand capacity to seven and planned four additional passenger stands, alongside a broader GBP120 million investment programme including a new training academy.2 3
