BBN Airlines Indonesia received EASA third country operator authorisation on 15-Sep-2025, enabling it to operate in the EU and support ACMI services into EU markets.1 Indonesia’s DGCA previously approved Aeronautical Engineers Inc’s supplemental type certificate for the Boeing 737-800SF, with AEI president Roy Sandri citing the need to broaden foreign approvals for leasing customers.2 The European Commission cleared all Indonesian air carriers from the EU Air Safety list after improvements in national safety oversight.3
