EADS EBIT down 15% in 3Q2011

EADS revenue down 4% - financial highlights for three months ended 30-Sep-2011:

  • Revenue: EUR10,751 million, -4% year-on-year;
    • Airbus commercial: EUR6656 million, -11%;
  • EBIT: EUR322 million, -15%;
    • Airbus commercial: EUR83 million, -5%;
  • Net profit: EUR312 million, +2300%;
  • Aircraft deliveries:
    • Airbus commercial: 376 aircraft;
  • Order book: EUR502,971 million, +12% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2010;
  • Total assets: EUR87,998 million, +5.8% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2010;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: EUR5117 million, +2% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2010;

EADS: "EADS increases its latest orders, revenues, EBIT* before one-off and Free Cash Flow guidance given in July. In 2011, Airbus should deliver 520 to 530 commercial aircraft and its gross orders should be around 1,500.
