Dublin pax traffic down again in 2010

Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) announced Dublin Airport handled 18.5 million passengers in 2010, a 10% year-on-year fall and some 20% below its 2008 level (Independent.ie, 17-Jan-2011). The DAA attributed the continued negative growth to the recession, the volcanic ash crisis and the severe winter weather in Dec-2010. The DAA is expecting a 6.5% increase in commercial traffic this year.
