DSNA expanded France’s free route airspace coverage to 70% on 21-Feb-2024 with two additional cells in Reims and Marseille ACC airspaces, with DSNA CEO Florian Guillermet calling FRA a key milestone towards European free routing and 4D profiles, and citing expected savings of around 9000 tonnes of CO2 p/a.1 Thales also deployed its Green Flag Orchestrator at DSNA’s Brest ACC (Mar-2025) and Reims ACC (May-2025) to help airlines optimise flight plans, targeting fuel reductions of 200kg to 300kg per optimised flight.2
