Expanding internationally
Ferrovial has been operating in Saudi Arabia since 2006, via Cadagua, Ferrovial Agromán's water subsidiary. It is the only Spanish company to have obtained a seawater desalination project in that country. The company has a permanent Middle East regional office in Dubai. Ferrovial Agromán also moved into India recently and has offices in New Delhi.
It has already landed a contact in India, to design and build a drinking water treatment plant in Hogenakkal, in Tamil Nadu state.
