IATA releases air transport market analysis

Before the plume of volcanic ash from Iceland temporarily closed European airspace in April, international air travel and air freight were rising strongly. In March, international air travel, measured by RPKs, was 10.3% higher than a year earlier. Air freight, measured by FTKs, was 28.1% higher.
