Port authority of NY & NJ release Dec-2009 traffic for JFK international Airport

Traffic fell 2.2% in December. Domestic seat capacity shrank 5.7% leading to a 5.1% drop in domestic traffic as carriers offered 10.4% fewer seats to Florida and 20.5% fewer seats to points upstate. JetBlue was off 0.4%, Delta (mainline) up 2.4% and American (mainline) down 8.0%. International traffic, up 1.2%, increased slightly or remained flat five months in a row.
