LAN Airlines signs firm order for 30 Airbus A320 Family aircraft

23-Dec-2009 LAN Airlines, one of Latin America's leading passenger and cargo airlines, has placed a firm order for the purchase of 30 Airbus Family A320 aircraft. This marks an important milestone raising LAN's total number of firm orders for Airbus aircraft to over 100.

Joining LANs existing fleet of A318, A319, A320, and A340-300s, the new A320 Family aircraft will be operated from Latin American hubs to cover different routes in the region. LAN currently serves over 65 destinations around the world, including North America, Europe and the South Pacific.
