Czech Airlines adds 4 aircraft to PBH support contract with AJW Aviation

22-Sep-2009 A J Walter Aviation, the complete aircraft spares support specialist has extended its power-by-the-hour support for Czech Airlines. Two A320 and two A321 have joined the programme which is set to cover Czech Airlines’ entire fleet of 33 aircraft by 2016. AJW is currently supporting a fleet of two x A321, eight x A320 and seven x A319 types with the planned acquisition of a further aircraft over the next seven years.

Czech Airlines is the national airline for the Czech Republic with its main base at Ruzyne Airport, Prague. It operates scheduled services to 69 destinations in 41 countries, including most major European cities and to transit points in the Middle East, North America, North Africa and Asia. It also operates charter and cargo services. Czech Airlines is modernising its entire fleet with Airbus narrow bodies replacing its older B737 aircraft. This will result in one of the most modern Airbus fleets in Europe which will also benefit from the full support of AJW's comprehensive power-by-the-hour spares programme.

AJW is well positioned to support Czech Airlines from its UK base with core inventory and full repair management services situated close to LHR and Gatwick airports.
