Monarch Aircraft Engineering awarded contract by Air Astana

11-Sep-2009 Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd, a provider of maintenance and technical support to airlines, announced on Friday that it has entered an agreement with Kazakhstani airline Air Astana.
Under the agreement, Monarch will provide Air Astana with heavy maintenance support at the company's maintenance facility at London Luton Airport.
The agreement, commencing this month, covers two Boeing 767 C Checks and an engine change, building on previous work undertaken by Monarch for Air Astana in the UK.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
