DHL Express planned the new Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport facility as a EUR121 million investment, with a 13,000sqm warehouse and processing capacity of 17,500 items per hour, aiming for completion in Jul-2025 and over 400 employees1 2. The centre was designed to consolidate sorting, customs, collection, and distribution functions, responding to approximately 8% annual parcel growth in the region over the past five years, according to DHL Express France CEO Philippe Prétat2.
