Denmark considers conversion of Naviair to state-owned company

Danish Ministry of Transport stated (11-Dec-2009) it has prepared a draft bill providing the basis for the conversion of the 'state enterprise' ATM company, Naviair, into a state-owned company. The purpose of the conversion is to "strengthen its position in the future cross-border provision of air navigation services", by focusing on commercial operations, including effectiveness and competitiveness and in this way strengthen Naviair in the alliances with foreign air navigation service providers.
