Delta announces Asia Pacific network changes for 2010/2011 winter
Delta Air Lines will enact the following Asia Pacific network changes as part of its 2010/11 winter schedule, effective 31-Oct-2010 (Routes Online, 23-Aug-2010):
- Atlanta-Tokyo Narita-Singapore: Aircraft swap on the route from 02-Feb-2011;
- Detroit-Nagoya-Manila: Aircraft swap from 28-Jan-2011;
- Detroit-Shanghai Pudong: Service reduction from daily to five times weekly from 24-Jan-2011;
- Detroit-Hong Kong: Frequency reduction from five to four times weekly from 25-Jan-2011;
- Detroit-Seoul Incheon: Frequency reduction from five to four times weekly from 01-Feb-2011;
- Detroit-Tokyo Haneda: Daily B747-400 service from 29-Feb-2011;
- Honolulu-Nagoya: New daily B767-300 service effective 22-Dec-2010;
- Honolulu-Tokyo Narita: Three times daily, with A330/B767-300ER/B747-400 equipment. Compared to double daily in winter 2009 schedule;
- Los Angeles-Tokyo Haneda: Daily B747-400 service from 29-Jan-2011;
- Los Angeles-Tokyo Narita service: B747-400 equipment to replace A330-200 equipment;
- Guam-Osaka Kansai: To increase from daily to double daily;
- Tokyo Narita-Bangkok: A330-300 to replace A330-200 equipment;
- Tokyo Narita-Hong Kong: B747-400 to replace A330-300 equipment;
- Tokyo Narita-Korot/Saipan: New four times weekly B757-200 service effective 22-Dec-2010;
- Tokyo Narita-Shanghai Pudong: B747-400 to replace A330-300 service.
