Delta Air Lines to suspend Salt Lake City-Tokyo service

Delta Air Lines announced plans to suspend Salt Lake City-Tokyo service, due to a combination of weak economic conditions, a reduction in air travel demand and swine flu concerns (Xinhua, 12-Aug-09). The services will be suspended between 01-Oct-09 and 14-May-09 and is part of the carrier's plans to reduce international capacity by 15% from Sep-2009.
