Delta Air Lines reports record profitability of 7% top line growth in 2014

Delta Air Lines president Ed Bastian stated (11-Dec-2014) 2014 was "another successful year", with record profitability of 7% top line growth, four points of margin expansion and over USD3 billion of free cash flow. The carrier's operating margin is expected to range between 11.5% and 12.5% in 2015, while PRASM is estimated to increase 10.% to 1.5% year-over-year. Delta expects a fuel price of USD2.63 to USD2.68 per gallon, and CASM to increase by up to 1.0% year-over-year, excluding fuel.
