Delta Air Lines pax numbers up 2% in Apr-2012, load factor up. RASM up 11%

Delta Air Lines reports (02-May-2012) the following traffic highlights in Apr-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 13.7 million, +2.0% year-on-year;
  • Revenue passenger miles: +1.1%;
  • Passenger load factor: 82.8%, +2.0 ppts;
    • Domestic: 85.4%, +2.3 ppts;
    • International: 79%, +1.6 ppts;
    • Latin America: 78.4%, +3.2 ppts;
    • Europe: 81.5%, +0.6 ppt;
