Delta Air Lines pax numbers up 1% in Oct-2012, PRASM up 6%
Delta Air Lines reports (02-Nov-2012) the following traffic highlights in Oct-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 14.1 million, +0.8% year-on-year;
- Revenue passenger miles: +0.3%;
- Domestic: -0.9%;
- International: +2.2%;
- Latin America: +11.7%;
- Europe: -3.0%;
- Asia Pacific: +7.5%;
- Passenger load factor: 84.6%, +1.8 ppts;
- Domestic: 84.7%, +0.4 ppt;
- International: 84.5%, +3.9 ppts;
- Latin America: 82%, +4.8 ppts;
- Europe: 86%, +3.4 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 83.1%, +4.6 ppts;

Delta: "The company is estimating that the hurricane negatively impacted October revenues by USD45 million and reduced October profit by approximately USD20 million. Delta is still assessing the impact to November, but expects it to be less than October.
