Copenhagen Airport handles record 6.5 million pax over summer 2011

Denmark's Copenhagen Airport stated (24-Oct-2011) it had its busiest summer ever in 2011, reaching a record of 6.5 million passengers (141,000 more passengers than in 2010) across 66,009 takeoffs. More than 85% of all departures were on time, placing Copenhagen Airport among the best performing airports in Europe, according to director of traffic and airside operations Dan Meincke.
