Copa to sell its Boeing 737-700 and Embraer E190 fleets

Copa Airlines announced (05-Aug-2020) plans to sell its 14 Boeing 737-700s and the airline does not expect to operate the aircraft again. The decision resulted in a USD186.8 million, non-cash and non-recurring impairment charge in 2Q2020. The carrier also signed a contract for the sale of its 14 Embraer E190s and six spare engines and parts in Jul-2020. [more - original PR]
