Copa Airlines CEO: 'We do what makes sense for us'

Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Latin America & Caribbean, stated (10-Sep-2026) "Every business, every industry gets better by having to go against a different product, innovation, a competitor or something". Mr Heilbron stated Copa monitors its competitors closely but noted: "We do what makes sense for us... we imitate what makes sense, what makes us better".
