Continental reports strong summer leisure demand

Continental Airlines CEO, Jeff Smisek, stated leisure demand for the carrier has been strong and he expects it remain so for the remainder of summer 2010 (Associated Press, 27-Jul-2010). However, the carrier hinted that demand has started to trail off, with advance bookings for the next six weeks lower than the previous corresponding period.
