Continental Airlines passenger numbers up 1.6% - consolidated traffic highlights in May-2010:
- Passenger numbers: 5.3 million, +1.6% year-on-year;
- Passenger traffic (RPMs): +3.7%;
- Domestic: -1.4%;
- International: +8.0%;
- Trans-Atlantic: stable;
- Latin America: +16.4%;
- Asia Pacific: +21.0%;
- Passenger load factor: 83.8%, +2.9 ppts;
- Domestic: 85.4%, +0.7 ppt;
- International: 82.9%, +4.9 ppts;
- Trans-Atlantic: 85.3%, +3.9 ppts;
- Latin America: 77.7%, +0.6 ppt;
- Asia Pacific: 84.1%, +13.8 ppts;
- Revenue per ASM: +23.0% to +24.0%;

Continental Airlines: "For May 2010, consolidated passenger revenue per available seat mile (RASM) is estimated to have increased between 23.0% and 24.0% compared to May 2009, while mainline RASM is estimated to have increased between 22.5% and 23.5%. For April 2010, consolidated passenger RASM increased 14.8% compared to April 2009, while mainline passenger RASM increased 12.6% compared to April 2009," Company statement.
