The carrier estimates a reduction of 275 million available seat miles and a reduction of USD24 million in passenger revenues in Apr-2010 due to the suspension of flights as a result of the volcanic ash crisis in Europe. The net effect of the reduction in capacity and passenger revenue resulted in a 1 ppt year-over-year increase in RASM.
