Collins Aerospace previously introduced a Wolverhampton engineering centre of excellence alongside a new elecTRAS production line in Colomiers, France, with Wolverhampton focused on elecTRAS development and Colomiers handling final assembly.1 Collins also completed the Clean Aviation HECATE project, reaching technology readiness level five in late 2025 after validating a more than 500kW hybrid-electric electrical power generation and distribution system using Safran Electrical & Power’s Copper Bird test bench.2
