Chongqing to become aviation hub by 2015, as China Southern expands market share to 40%

China Southern Airlines announced it will increase its market share in Chongqing to 40% by 2015, following its agreement with Chongqing Municipal Government to develop Chongqing into an aviation hub (Chongqing Business, 06-May-2011). China Southern plans to expand its fleet in Chongqing to 70 aircraft by 2015, including 26 operated by is Chongqing Airlines subsidiary.
