Chinese airlines generate USD1.3 billion profit for year-to-Sep-2009

• Profit: USD127.4 million, compared to a loss of USD325.0 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Airlines: USD23.4 million, compared to a loss of USD386.5 million in the previous corresponding period;

Nine months ended 30-Sep-2009:

• Profit: USD1.3 billion, compared to a loss of USD68.8 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Airlines: USD897.5 million, compared to a loss of USD812.6 million in the previous corresponding period.
