China's Spring Festival tourism revenue jumps 27%

China’s National Tourism Administration reported China’s tourism revenue rose 27% year-on-year to CNY82.1 billion (USD12.4 billion) in Spring Festival golden week between 02-Feb-2011 and 08-Feb-2011 (Xinhua, 10-Feb-2011). According to the tourism authority, CNY5200 million (USD787.9 million) came from airlines while CNY3110 million (USD471.2 million) came from railways.
