China Eastern transports 65 million pax in 2010

China Eastern Airlines reported it recorded 1.2 million hours of safe operation in full-year 2010, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year (CAAC-News, 03-Jan-2011). The carrier also reports the following traffic highlights in 2010:

• Passenger numbers: 65.1 million, +15.6% year-on-year;
• Cargo volume: 1.5 million tonnes, +18.8%;
• Number of flights: 588,000, +6.9%.
