China Eastern Airlines expects 60%-70% net profit growth in 1Q2016

China Eastern Airlines expects (13-Apr-2016) to report a between 60% to 70% year-on-year increase in net profit in 1Q2016, benefiting from "the national economic restructuring and consumption upgrade of residents, demand for the air passenger market continued to grow." The carrier also lower fuel costs due to cited low international crude oil prices. In 1Q2015, China Eastern reported a net profit of CNY1,564 million (USD226.2 million).
