China Airlines selects A321neo for narrowbody fleet replacement programme

China Airlines selected (08-May-2019) the A321neo for its narrowbody replacement programme. The carrier plans to introduce 14 leased A321neo aircraft initially from 2021. The carrier plans to negotiate for an additional 11 firm orders and five options. The aircraft are to be deployed on long haul and regional routes. New cabin designs will also be implemented in the aircraft, including seating configurations and inflight entertainment system. [more - original PR]
