China Airlines expects advantages from A350 fleet

China Airlines announced (10-Apr-2016) assembly on the carrier's first A350-900 XWB aircraft has been completed and will commence installing seats and aircraft livery shortly ahead of delivery of the aircraft in Jul-2016. Assembly of the carrier's second A350 aircraft is also progressing. China Airlines is scheduled to take delivery of four A350 aircraft this year, which is expected to bring the average fleet age of the carrier's long-haul fleet to 3.6 years, as well as other advantages to the carrier. China Airlines' A350 aircraft is configured with 306 seats in a three class layout including 32 business, 31 premium economy and 243 economy class seats. [more - original PR - Chinese]
