China-Africa trade to reach new record in 2010

China’s Ministry of Commerce’s Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation stated bilateral trade volume between China and Africa in 2010 will exceed the record high of USD106.8 billion achieved in 2008 (Xinhua, 14-Oct-2010). China’s direct investment in Africa reached USD1.4 billion in 2009, making China Africa’s largest trade partner.
