Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport T2 to commence operations in Oct-2012

China's Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport stated its terminal two (T2) building will commence trial operations on 28-Jul-2012 before its official opening on 01-Oct-2012. The CNY12.8 billion (USD2.0 billion) facility will increase the airport's capacity to 50 million passengers p/a, according to a China Civil Aviation Online report.
