Changi Airport expects to cater for 100 carriers by 2015

Singapore Changi Airport's expects to catering for approximately 100 carriers by 2015 (Channel NewsAsia, 19-Aug-2010). The airport serves approximately 90 carriers. Seven carriers announced plans to operate from the airport in 2009 and another three including Mandala Airlines and Finnair will commence operations at the airport in 2010. Changi expects up to three more carriers to commence operations at the airport by the end of 2010. Director of Marketing Development, Changi Airport Group, Lim Ching Kiat stated: "Our capacity across all four terminals can handle 70 million passengers p/a. Last year, we handled 37.2 million passengers."
