Cebu Pacific commercial planning VP: Be aware of the risks associated with low cost long haul

Cebu Pacific commercial planning VP and Cebgo president and CEO Alexander Lao, speaking at the CAPA LCCs in North Asia Summit, stated (12-Jun-2018) Cebu Pacific "de risked widebody flying" by operating widebody aircraft on short haul services initially before expanding to long haul operations. Mr Lao advised potential low cost long haul entrants to "make sure you know what you really want" and to be aware of the risks associated with low cost long haul operations.
