Cebu Pacific: Airline loyalty porgrammes have 'immatured' in a way

Cebu Pacific general manager loyalty Nik Laming, speaking at the CAPA Asia Aviation & Corporate Travel Summit, said (14-Nov-2019) airline loyalty programmes have "immatured" in a way, moving from traditional programmes to a disrupted sector with new techniques and gamification. Mr Laming added that the segment has evolved to be "more accepted by the generation coming through". However, the basic principles of loyalty programmes "are still there and they've stayed the same, as people still like getting things for free", he said.
