Cathay Pacific CEO notes need to change; 'We can no longer rest on our laurels'

Cathay Pacific CEO Ivan Chu, in the Feb-2017 issue of CXWorld, stated (Feb-2017) the carrier "needs to change", adding: "We can no longer rest on our laurels and need to get back to our winning ways. Time to Win emphasises the urgency of acting now and catching up with competitors who may be overtaking us - we must adapt to a changing world." Mr Chu added: "This is a positive call-to-action for everyone in the company to get behind." Time to Win is the carrier's biggest change programme in the past 20 years, Mr Chu said, adding that it is, "about focusing on the customer, improving our competitiveness in the marketplace and becoming more efficient in everything we do."
