Castellon Airport signed an agreement with Aeronáutica Gestión to build a 6000sqm double aircraft painting hangar, backed by over EUR10 million investment and scheduled for completion in 1H2027, alongside plans for interiors/technical cleaning and an aeronautical painting training centre at Castellon1. The airport handled 318,309 passengers in 2025 (+16%) and 12,401 movements (+10%)2. Skyborne Airline Academy also operated a pilot training facility at Castellon, following an earlier agreement to open the site from 20193.
