CAPA: Airline industry at a pivotal point, response to recession key for stock ratings

CAPA - Centre for Aviation senior advisor John Thomas, speaking at the CAPA Latin America Aviation & LCCs Summit, stated (16-Sep-2019) the airline industry is at a "pivotal point", with equity markets expected to closely monitor the industry response to a forecast recession. Mr Thomas said a significant rerating of airline stocks is likely if carriers can manage the recession well.
