Background ✨
Canadian North’s Ottawa cargo operation began accepting outbound shipments on 20-May-2026, with inbound freight pickups remaining at 140 Thad Johnson Private until 30-Jun-2026 during the transition.1 The Ottawa project followed earlier announcements that Canadian North would match up to CAD11 million in National Trade Corridors Fund support, with the facility intended to double its freight footprint and reduce cargo-handling delays.2 3
